You've stumbled upon my journal. What now? You could friend me, but you could also leave. If you chose the first' WELCOME! If you chose the second; No hard feelings.
Anyway, to the point. My name is Katelin (which should not be very surprising to you) and I'm a 21 year old.... I was going to say student, but I'm a bit in between schools as of now. I miss it dearly, and I'm planning on starting again next summer. I'm originally from the Netherlands, but have been raised bilingual and spend more time outside of this little country than I do in it. Okay, I guess that's not entirely true, but I do travel a lot.
I guess this is the moment I announce my fandoms and hobbies to see if we've got something in common right? Right.
I enjoy reading, drawing and writing a lot, but you can also find me running through the woods 4 times a week, on a horse once a week and swimming at least once a week as well. I love my health. I feel best after a strong workout and however much reading pleases me, I love the energy and adrenaline/endorphine boost you get from tiring out your body. So there's that.
On to the fandoms. At the moment, my newest addiction is The Hunger Games. I have not yet dared to go into the world that is called fandom when it comes to the books (and now the movie) but I undoubtedly will at some point in the near future. Then there's X-Men: First Class, The Big Bang Theory and not to forget, my one true fandom of all time: Harry Potter.
What's left to tell? See, I'm not a very exciting person. I don't have any special talents, I don't excel at anything specific and I'm just as main-stream, failing through life as any of you. I play guitar, maybe that's something? But seeing as half (if not more) of the world knows how to handle a guitar I wouldn't count that as "special" Oh, and then there's drawing.
So that was pretty much it.
I hope you enjoyed this little babble in which I probably didn't even make you a little bit curious as to who I am, but if I did, feel free to friend me. I'm very kind, I promise.

I simply hate the way my gallery folders look, but I have no idea how to change them. I know it's possible though.
Google, for once, has been no help at all.
So anyone got some kind of knowledge when it comes to changing the look of your gallery folders?

Not in that particular order, but still, and update!
Seeing as I was let go at work a week or two ago, I started applying for saturday and summer jobs all around the city. Or, well I applied for only two, but hey, I already got a result so more wasn't really necessary anyway! :D I don't really need a job right now, but some extra money to save up for a rainy student day or to have some fun with friends can never hurt. I first applied at a shoe store, but they never called me back, I guess I'm not shoe-y enough for them *shrugs* then yesterday, I applied for a job at my favorite clothing store. Was talking to a friend of mine about commenting on and faving stuff on deviantart and livejournal (If you read this, hiya love! :wave:) and she told me that she'd rather have no comment than a "cool" or "cute" or "nice" comment. And that she'd rather not leave a comment than such comment..
And I started thinking about that. I always love getting comments, I love replying to them, and I love giving them (this probably would make more sense on my eljay xD where I get and leave more comments O_o). For me it doesn't matter if a comment just says "nice" or something like that, because it proves that someone took the "time" to type that they like
